Emmons and Mitchell Construction Limited (E&M) was incorporated in 1957 by Edward (Ed) Mitchell and Donald (Don) Emmons and has been successfully engaged in General Contracting, Project Management and Design Build Projects since its inception. Both Ed and Don had a steadfast belief that their business success depended on providing quality workmanship, delivered on time, and on budget. Also, they established their company’s reputation on ‘honesty and integrity’ in everything they did. Importantly, they passed this vision onto E&M’s current leadership.

It is our mission to send our workers home safely to their families, every day. We pride ourselves on our safety record, we were recently recipients with a distinguished achievement in health and safety for achieving a Zero injury frequency from 2008-2021 (716,034 hours) from Ontario General Contractors Association (OGCA). E&M has been an active member on the Kingston and Area Safety Board for the last 15 years.
